Change your show's web address or your email without losing anything

Pick your show's address as you create it, rename shows and episodes later with old links redirecting, and change your own email address from Account settings.

Two things that used to be fixed once set can now be changed safely: your show's web address and the email address on your account.

Choose your address as you create a show. Creating a podcast is now two steps. First choose whether we host it or, on a paid plan, you connect a feed you already have, then fill in one details page. The web address is checked as you type, alternatives are suggested when a name is taken, and you can see exactly where the show will live before you create it. Moving from another host? Paste your current feed and we fill in the details for you, then offer to import your back catalogue on a paid plan. Create your podcast.

Rename it later without breaking links. A show's address can be changed in Podcast Settings, and a published episode's address from its Details tab. Every address a show or published episode has had redirects permanently to the current one, so show pages, episode pages and booking links you have shared keep working, and nobody else can ever register an old name. Each show and published episode can change address up to three times in 30 days. A draft episode has no public address yet, so renaming one simply replaces it. Change your web address.

Your feed address never changes. Feeds now live at a permanent address based on your show's ID rather than its name, so renaming a show never moves its feed, and older name-based feed addresses redirect to it. Find your feed URL.

Change your email address yourself. Account settings now has an Email address card, so there is no need to ask support. We send a confirmation link to both your current and your new address, and nothing changes until you have confirmed from both. After that, the new address is used for:

  • signing in
  • the emails we send you
  • billing receipts
  • your support history, including replies to conversations already open
  • team invitations still waiting to be accepted
