A calmer Show notes page, and a guest portal that matches it

Show notes gets one sheet for your notes, a guests dock, a recording view and a clearer chat, and the guest portal now looks and works the same way.

A round-up of the work on Show notes, for hosts and for the guests you record with.

One sheet for your notes. Host-only and Shared are two tabs on a single sheet, with a line at the top saying who can read the note you have open. How the page is laid out.

Your guests in a dock. Every guest sits in a dock on the left, with their brief and the notes you share with them. Drag it wider, or fold it to a column of faces when you want the room. Each guest's access link now lives with that guest. The guests dock.

One brief per guest. Their booking answers, their notes, their Guest Network profile and any research you have run, in one read-only place that guests never see. Add their answers, profile or research to your Host-only notes in a click. The guest brief.

A recording view. One click clears the app away and leaves your guests and your Host-only notes, with the meeting link and Join at the top. Press Esc to go back. Recording view.

Chat that stays out of the way. The episode chat runs down the right edge. Drag it wider, or fold it to a slim rail that still shows unread messages and who is online. Messages read as one thread, with a divider for each day, each person's role and times in your time zone. Messaging.

Easier formatting and links. One toolbar across the editors, a card to open, copy or edit a link, and a list of Markdown shortcuts (Cmd or Ctrl and /). Formatting and links.

The guest portal matches. Guests see the recording time in their own time zone and, once there is a link, a Join button up top, then the same notes sheet and chat you use. On a phone they switch between Shared, their own notes and Chat. What guests see.

Templates now fill in guest names and the episode number for every guest's notes, including a guest who joins a booking later. Who is online and the Live status no longer blink every minute, and a long chat always opens on its newest messages, with earlier ones a click away for your team.
