Record anywhere, and a clearer view of every show and episode
Choose where you record, decide who works on each episode and who is credited, and use redesigned show pages, Overview, episode tabs and bookings calendar.
A round-up of what has shipped over the last couple of weeks.
Record wherever you already record. Each booking link now has a recording platform: Google Meet, Zoom, Riverside, SquadCast, Descript Rooms, Zencastr, any other link you paste, in person, or none. An episode can override its link's choice. Whatever you pick goes everywhere the Meet link used to go, including the booking emails, the guest portal and the calendar invite. Meet links are still created for you when Google Calendar is connected. For anything else, you paste your own room link. Choose your platform.
Calendar invites for episodes you create yourself. An episode you create by hand, rather than through a booking, can now send a calendar invite to its guests and team. Tick the box when you create the episode. It needs a connected Google Calendar. How the invite works.
Who works on an episode, and who gets credited. Adding someone to an episode and crediting them in your feed are now two separate decisions. Co-hosts see the episodes they are added to, where they can edit show notes and invite guests, and you choose per episode whether they can see the transcript. Feed credits have moved to the Publish tab. Team members are available on the Studio plan and above. People and credits.
Show pages, redesigned. Your public show and episode pages now carry a subscribe card, your team and recent guests, and episode credits under the player. A published transcript can be read in full and searched, and tapping a line jumps the audio there. On transcripts you publish or republish from now on, the word being spoken is highlighted as it plays. Your listen page.
An Overview that starts with what needs you. A podcast's Overview now leads with the things waiting on you, and booking requests can be accepted or declined right there. Below that are your production pipeline, your next recording and, for shows hosted here, how downloads compare with the previous 30 days. Your Overview.
One workspace for every episode. Each episode opens into six tabs: Overview, Details, Show notes, Guests, Media and Publish. The team chat stays open while you move between them. The episode workspace.
Bookings by month, week, day or schedule. The bookings calendar has four views. Week and day are time grids, so you can see how a day fills up, and on a phone it starts on the schedule view. The calendar view.
